There was a time when TOP 40 radio gave us everything music from Chet Atkins and Elvis Presley to Aretha Franklin and Bobbie Gentry.  Folk music was coming into its own on TV and radio;  and in the middle of all that we had the British Invasion. 

Listening to Marty and his guitar travel through his solo acoustic set, you get to hear some of those influential songs from the Beatles, the Eagles, John Denver and more. 

His originals share stories of the rural Midwest families who survived the Great Depression and more as well as his own lost loves and other romantic ventures. 

You just never know what song might pop up, and he is always rewarded seeing people sing along when a song makes a connection with the audience.
